Cool. I'm uploading the setup & programming vid right now, but at 40 mins (yikes!) and 5.35G HD1080, it won't be finished uploading until some time tomorrow morning... about 975 minutes to go, lol...

This weekend I'll cut down the FBL head installation video (gotta use different software to get some time-lapse, and it needs serious editing). Will try to post it up within a couple of days, if there's enough good footage to make it worth while...

Stay tuned

Lookin' really good!

How much pitch & cyclic throw did you give? Remember, the cyclic limits setting is bugged and will give you more throw during actual operation... best to double check for binding outside of programming mode. That worked to my advantage on the B400... meant to set 8 degrees, but I bet I'm running 10 degrees cyclic which is why it's such a monster in flips ;-) Also, make sure to set 40% expo... you'll thank me later, lol.

Pitch and cyclic throw are default but thanks, I'll be sure and check that before I fly it. Looks like +10 -10

Alright, here's my setup video for the Tarot ZYX 3-Axis Gyro.
Covers transmitter settings, swashplate adjustment, and gyro
programming using the Tx.

It's my first instructional video, so go easy on me ;-)
Gimme a "thumbs up" on YouTube if you like 'em...

Tarot ZYX 3-Axis Gyro Setup & Programming (40 min 1 sec)

And, here's a vid (shot BEFORE the one above) of dialing in the
gyro gain setting + maiden flight of that HK250GT after converting
it to flybarless.

Since this was shot earlier, the instructional video includes lessons
learned ;-) Noteably, I hit the Wag 'o Death a few times because
gain was too high from my previous gyro (65.5% IIRC); if you set
the ZYX to 3D mode, I highly recommend starting a 250 at 57%
(14% actual), my final value, which seems to be holding the tail
very well.

After this maiden flight, upped the head speed a bit...
and it's much, much snappier!
I think I like it!

HK250 GT FBL with Tarot ZYX - Maiden Flight (11 min 3 sec)

Finally, maiden (take two) of my Blade 400, also sporting the Tarot ZYX.
Completely transformed this bird!

She was wagging at gyro gain of 60%, but at 58.5% (17% actual), the
tail holds rock solid.

Blade 400 FBL with Tarot ZYX - Maiden (Take Two) (7 min 38 sec)

Nice work Zeropitch!

If you want more collective or cyclic pitch, try moving the ball in one hole on the blade grips.

I noticed you have them in the last hole. Tis gives you good mechanical advantage but requires more servo travel. Moving it in one or two holes, will increase the amount of force required to change the pitch but will give you more throw and prevent your servo horn from hitting the main gear.

Thanks for the complement

And nice tip... figured that moving those in one hole on the blade grip would increase throw, but not sure I'll need it just yet... after bumping my headspeed up by going from 85% to 90% governed, she really came alive!
