Question
Who has the best deal on Flying Wings?

Looking for something around 35" that will handle 9g servos and 3s 1000 size packs. Got plenty of motors that can handle the job. Just looking for a sale before breaking out the scratch building ideas........

email this guy: testfly@atlantic.net. He stamps them out on a CNC machine and they fly great. The price is around $20 for a kit + shipping. You cant go wrong. I have 2 of them and they fly great.

He not only has pics but a complete video series on the build. It is great to watch and follow. Really simple build - I hae done 2 of them and they get easier each time. I have one for racing and another for team limbo. They are a blast!

hi friend. please check this model: http://www.avlisogeid.com/rc.html It's specially designed for 9gr servos and 1000mAh 3s lipo.
Because I'm starting to sell on my new site I'll be happy to send you the flying wing before paying for it, so that you can send the money only when the wing be received.
thanks.

The "TESTFLY" CNC WING kit is $15.00. (Shipping is at cost)

Here is the link to the CNC Wing being built as a night flyer.
cnc-wing-night-flyer.wmv (21 min 57 sec)

There are 5 build videos that show in detail how the CNC Wing can be built.

To build the CNC Wing you need spray foam, 30 minute epoxy, 1" masking tape and 2" packing tape, hinge tape,

To fly the wing you need to add:
2) HXT 900 servos
2200 kv motor /prop
30 amp esc
1300 mah 3 cell lipo
2) control surface horns
12" of 1/16" servo linkage wire
2) EZ connectors
3 ch radio with delta mixing

Here is a video of 2 wings with a MicroDAN motor setup.
CNC WING MIDAIR CRASH.MOV (1 min 34 sec)

cnc-wing-midair-9-17-11.wmv (5 min 12 sec)

The midair at the end cost each pilot a prop (about $2.00 each)
30 minutes later both were flying again.

Build and Fly a Wing ...

The video of the build was interesting and strange enough, recently had a short discussion in the Armin wing thread about using expanding foam from a can. The Armin wing thread is about using Readi-Board foam core to build a quick and easy wing of any style, but most of the builds are straight wings for a trainer style plane. Some are getting into other types, but so far, none are talking flying wings.

I take it from the video the contest was a race for speed rather than a combat session. Interesting how it sounded like you guys were flying WOT the whole time, or nearly so. When I get a wing of my own put together, I will have to visit again to check out the motor, ESC, and other details.

Your right WOT all the time.
We use a 1800 3 cell and are getting 3 minutes. At the 3 minute mark we come across the field and then go vertical, shut off the motor and the closest one to the target (spot marked on the runway) wins. Your DQed if you get back on the power.
It started out as a combat plane then we added a MicroDAN motor and the 1800 battery. So now it is a screamer for 3 minutes. We call it "wing-en it" or 3 minutes of "Oh Hell Yeah".
