Not sure if the E-Flite guys hang out here, but if you do congrats on the new F4...that is a very nice looking plane.

Now that you have undertook the engineering challenge to do a bifurcated exhaust how about making an A6 Intruder next?

It's a beautiful plane, you almost never see modeled and with the large wing it flies great.

I would assume 80mm fan would be the choice but even better if you left the option for a larger 90mm fan. If you want to go over the top, how about split flaps or leading edge slats, lights, bombs and missles...the whole 9 yards.

Great suggestion! Has always been near the top of my list of favorite attack aircraft. Then, when I read "Flight of the Intruder", well, it went to the top of my list

You're right though...not too much love for the Intruder. I for one would love to see a Platinum Series ARF from the boys at e-flite. Sadly I won't be holding my breath though

You know, Ken Williams of K&A Models (essentially defunct) had a nice semi-ARF of the A-6 sized for the WeMo609 fan. Would have been just the thing with more modern 80mm's.

His demise was that nobody wants to buy "American Made" models (in profitable numbers) that you actually have to build. More's the pity.

check out Flo's A-6. apparantly, he'll be kitting it. it's a beauty.

my vote for E-Flite is an A-4, then an A-7 in the 80mm size. both of those will sell like absolute hot cakes IMHO.

I had a K&A A6...and like an idiot I sold it. It was an awesome plane.

I found someone who had the slope version, now I just need to get Ken to send me some ducting.

As nice as it is, it is smaller than I want. I really want a larger 80/90mm version. Ken's was just a bit too small for retracts...though I did manage to slip some MAP retracts in there.

I have been drooling over that plane forever. I told him I want to be first in line for a kit.

But there is something to be said for the simplicty and plug-n-play nature of the E-flite Platinum series.

Either case...I'm down for one.

oh, for sure. it really wouldn't matter how much that plane costs, because guys know what they are getting, especially if they've followed along since day one. that plane will be worth however much he asks for it.

Shawn your A-6 is the only model I've seen of it fly

F-15? Possibilities are endless.

The F-4 is a very nice 2nd approach to me with their Platinum 80mm Series.
