need help identifying this model please
hello rcgers,I picked up this diamond in the ruff today and would like to fix it up a bit but I cant seem to find any info on the web,the guy I bought if from said it was an aero star biplane but I cant find any info,please help.it has a thunder tiger .61 engine if that helps with size. thanks for any help i can get,I really just want to find an engine cover for it.

It's really the RCM Acro Star, which was kitted by Airtronics.
Desinged by Don Dewey and Lee Renaud. Comes from April 1973 RCM as I recall. Plan no. PL-525. Still available. It did not have a glass cowl. It was wood. http://www.rcmplans.com/index.php?ma...oducts_id=1347 FYI, the Acro Star was a descendant of the Wayfarer which was a descendant of the Hobo. |
