Resoldered Balance Tab, Still Won't Balance

So I pulled two wires off my balance tab. Soldered them back on. Check it on the MM & the voltages are there.
But the charger still refuses to see the pack. What's the deal?

Absolutely certain you soldered them to the right place. If you switched them...could be an issue.

As you work from the black to red wires, put black mm probe on black, red next to it. Move red mm probe one spot, repeat till you move to last wire. Do you voltages increase with every probe? It should. If not, fix that and try again.
If OK post what pack and charger you are using. A nice picture/pictures would help us too.

it would have been hard to cross the wires. one was ground & the other was the only wire on that solder point

just wondering if maybe i didn't heat something up too much or what.

Still waiting on a picture of your pack and charger...
If you have correct voltage on balance tap what else can it be? Does your charger have a plug for the balance connector AND a discharge connector?

What are the voltages of the individual cells?? If one is not high enough, it won't see it.
