They were in stock at 3dhs but for less than 24 hours. Maybe the next batch (if I'm lucky).

Cg?

Hello,
I have mine ready to fly, but am not sure about the CG. The manual says to bance it 4 to 5 inches back from the leading edge at the wing root, but that seems really far back. Can you tell me where yours balanced?
Thanks,
Joe C

just fly it with a 1000 mah back from the front about 2". I need to fiddle with mine because it's to nose heavy but the gear CF is in the way to move my battery back. For me just a little to nose heavy in a 3d plane.

A couple thoughts:

1.) I'm amazed that planes that size can fly so well in an area so small
2.) I really gotta learn how to fly inverted better...

Its a real floater, harriers better than any other epp I have. So you can fly it slow, but with the recommended setup, it'll get across a gym fast! One thing I had to get use to. I tried a 9" prop to slow it down but didn't like it. I run with a 1000mah 3s.

@ Steve400, Did you build the Slick to specs for outdoors? Or did you lighten it for indoor?

I built a 34 Edge with about half of the carbon that came with the kit and am powering it with the Extra's recomended power system, and it mad for one of the best indoor planes i have ever flew!

Just woundering?

Pretty sure its outdoors, my setup is hacker a20-20l, ztw 20 esc, 1300 gens ace 3s lipo. Its pretty fast gotta be easy on the throttle indoors.
