Pisser - 3DHS 38" EPP Slick Build video or manual

Back at Christmas when they were in stock Santa bought me one of the 3DHS 38" EPP Slick knowing I would not be able to build it till now.

So now with all the "honey do's" complete I go to look for manual, build video, recommended motor, etc and can not find a thing on the 3DHS web site.

I can understand dropping a product. But seem to make good business that since nothing comes in the box they would build an archive of obsolete planes that are no longer supported on their web site so people could find old details when needed.

Seriously makes good sense in my mind. A lot of folks still have these planes. What does it take to create an archive section for obsolete product on their web page?

Anyone know where a guy can find a manual? Or build video? Etc.

Sure seems like some odd things are happening with 3DHS since the move to the great white north.

Well finally got mine finished and flew it for the first time today. I am not experienced much less with flat foamy.

Upright hands off level flight seems to have a little up trim but inverted very little if any down stick was required.

It seems to want to fly with a nose up angle of attack which is less notiable when inverted.

Is this just the way flat foam flies?

Any recommendations or suggestions are appreciated.

"nose-up" angle of attack when upright most likely means tailheavy.

Try the pack just a little further forward and see if that fits you better.

This is one of my best flying planes.. Very precise flier, and it is a foamy! It is a 3D machine, and will, with out a doubt, make you look better than you actually are!

I added a bit of down and a bit of right thrust...wow

Anyone who has seen any of my post knows I'm just getting started in the hobby and really not much of a pilot (read real slow learner). I've had a couple of flat foam planes and each of them broke when you looked at them wrong and flew...well now I know they flew like a box car.

This thing makes me look good and I'm really not. I have more tweaking to go and a whole lot more skill to gain but what a sweet machine to do it with.

Obviously, I just had an after work, zero wind, extrmemly fun flight

I have a new in the box 38" epp slick that I don't plan on building. I'll ship it in the box I received it in so it should make it ok, but it won't be double boxed do to the odd size. PM if interested. I have a 45hb servo's new in the box as well as a power system Hacker A20-26M and Thunderbird 18amp speed control and 3 new Genace 3s 1000 25c packs.
