Pitty you cant make it. I understand it is a fair way for Sydney-siders, but part of having it in Swan Hill is it does not advantage anyone...except for those in Swan Hill?!
They make us very welcome and keep us happy all weekend.

OH, it's a little more than that for me, I have fond memories....

I grew up in Echuca, flew with the Cohuna club back in the 80's, visited SHMAC a few times when I was 'advantaged' by living closer.

One thing I do remember, I hope that it is not windy and cold.

Looking forward to see all you blokes up there. Hope the weather will be kind to us.

Cant control the weather. No predictions there.

The fields have been slashed, we've sprayed the runways and the final scrape and roll will be done this weekend, so the place will look shmicko.

Just a reminder that you're welcome to camp out at the field, or bring your caravan. SHMAC members will be running a canteen all weekend, and a spit roast dinner will be the traditional feed on Saturday night. Looking forward to a few beers at the Fed over the bridge Friday night oo.

Toilet facilities and a shower are on site, and like Bill said, we can't predict the weather, but we'll do our best to make sure you have a great time.

Swan Hill boasts a great range of accommodation too, and you're only minutes from the field wherever you stay - living in town, it takes me longer to load the planes than to drive out there...

After a few weeks off and plenty of flying and tidying out at SHMAC, the place looks ready to rock and roll, so come along and cross your fingers for calm days.

I stayed at the field a few years ago and ate there as well, for an RC club they have GREAT facilities and haveing a few cans and NOT having to drive is great.

And so far so good with the weather - forecast is for a shower or two up to Friday, but sunny and mid-20's Saturday!
Showers were forecast last week too, but nothing happened...

Had a great two weeks off, with plenty of flying out there, so the weather forecasts have been pretty close to the mark.

Weather update number 2:

A few possible showers Friday, maybe Saturday morning, but only light winds and mainly sunny all weekend. The nights won't be too cold either for you night flyers (and us boozers).
