We need to start taking some pictures so we can provide some evidence of our flying mayhem! We did have a lot of fun today it was nice to meet Clint and too bad DWA didn't make it (and for the record Bluff is a near dead-zone for cell phone or any other device so it will be a rare case to give wind updates from cliff-side).

Any who are interested in visiting - just know that even if the wind sucks we still have a good time talking story! But it's a rare case when we cannot fly at all. We have been getting into some friendly combat which has been very entertaining over the last few weeks.

In general PSS/sleds dominate Bluff Cove on a normal day, but we will fly anything from big moldies to your run of the mill wings (and often all at the same time)!

Morri
... who scored two kills today and is resisting the urge to rub-it-in!

Yep, it was refreshing to get our glass planes back in the air for a sunset flying session. Ian flew his mini SR7 which hasn't seen any air-time for like 10 or more years?! It flew great along with Nick's F-11 and my Cobra.

My Cobra suffered some trama as I dumped it into a bush over the front-side edge! I'm in the process of learning to fly "normal" - back when I first learned to fly I taught myself with the elevator reversed and have stayed that way since I was 15 years old (now 51). So I was flying my wing all day in normal mode and then launched my Cobra in reverse (old-normal) mode. It was a bit wierd at first but I settled into my old comfort zone until I got into the landing pattern. There was a split second where I didn't know what "mode" I was in and reverted to flying "normal", and needless to say the Cobra went down hard but luckly into a bush (repairable damage).

The good news is today I learned that I cannot keep switching back and forth and I must commit to flying with a normal elevator with all my planes. My skills are not anywhere near as good and I fly like a beginner but hopefully not for long.

So long for now, Morri

Other than my heart pounding 100 times a sec. on that save, Ian that was a great finish!

I was merely trying to increase your confidence, proficiency and experience with that girly-armed throw ....

Believe me, I'm happier than anyone that you saved it! Or I'd be buying you a new plane! You flew awesome Nick!

Thanks Clint, no worries here, that's not the first time I had to make a save with this plane. The first flight I was totally inverted and saved it at Pt. Fermin. At the Bluff Cove we don't make you buy, "We make you climb"...LOL Just kiddin all is good! :-)

...for the record I missed them by at least 18 inches! Besides Clint being the "new guy" we needed to see what he's made of - we just have to get over the fact he throws like a girl - all said, he'd be welcome to fly with us anytime.
