In my experience... it doesn't change much in terms of actually flying the models. Its just different in how they are setup. But once setup, it flies how you want it to fly. Of course, be sure to test all control surfaces ON THE GROUND first

Essential reading:

Good point Steven, although the mixes structure would translate via paper, would they not?

Hey Andy if you haven't already, download, print and study this:

http://er9x.googlecode.com/svn/trunk...rs%20Guide.pdf

Its from here:
http://code.google.com/p/er9x/

There are lots of other resources there. richardmrazek's TX programming tutorials' are good although if like me, you'll get sick of pushing the clickey-clack TX buttons and just do it on you PC with eePe.

Feel free to ask questions here, but please be aware when you get to a 'comfort' level (beyond newbie) the forum is a fantastic resource. It moves quickly, though! Your question and answer can be 2 or 3 pages back by the time you checkin again.

Cheers and fun.

Hey Brendan

Thought I'd let you know I've got my Smartieparts board installed and er9X flashed. WOW, you were right, what a great mod for this radio. Still putting all my models back in, I've got 4 done, 6 to go. BTW, on one of the main screen options, you have the model name, lipo voltage, timer, etc, and at the bottom, there's four zeros, like a clock (00:00). It never changes, what is it?

Hopefully tomorrow, I'll be able to maiden some of my planes again, I guess it will be "squeaky bum time", until I get them trimmed out..

All the best mate
Andy

Luck on your re-maidens Andy!

Sorry can't help on the ER9X questions. Best go to the guru's at: http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showt...66162&page=782 - remember to quote your ER9X revision number ("rXXX").

Also best pack a spare pair of undies
