The guys who worked for it got it! Mid Am today!
A home run soaring contest! And even allowed one pop off per day!
LSFV Chris Lee has been honing his piloting skills, doing his studying and paying attention to mentors like Rich Burnowski and others..and it shows....he flew a virtually perfect contest today... Both he and Marc Gellart have found the Tragi Cluster to be the ship they both love and both made them do the job with Marc coming in second. Adam Quennoz flew like crap but a lot better than ALL the rest of us losers and took third flying Explorers. (kidding ...some :-). If you guys have not met Adam and Chris....you will. Both are natural sticks who work hard at the hobby...and on the field. (no strangers to shagging chutes like me!) It was the Sportsman who really shined all weekend and they made us and did themselves proud with their flying and efforts to improve. Jerry Shape came to do some spanking but missed his opportunity this time, he put up some great flights and excellent calls on air, but in the end got caught by the same smeg that got some of the rest of us whiners. Pat Crosby was abucted by aliens last night (or maybe it was broken hearted UK coeds!) but reportedly showed up at home okay today. AJ and Dave and Phil and all the Bluegrass Soaring club members who continue to set a high starndard with their Mid Am, keeping it a top event in the Mid South and Ohio Valley Soaring Series ...they did their usual flawless jobs, so a big thanks to them. The best was the trophies.... Makers Mark :-)....no not Makers Marc. Of course at the one contest I DON'T win ;-( Gordy You? -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "RCSE" group. Thanks for the endorsement Gordy. Could not have done it without all those folks who came and made it a very successful weekend. Wish I had done another round on Sun though.
