We were too busy working to do much flying during the day, and too beat to do any flying in the evening. We did get to sneak in a few flights on our Perky Wednesday, then again Sunday afternoon (we stayed until Monday morning before heading home). Being retired does have it's benefits!

I got to fly:

Hobby Lobby A-10
1/12 Spitfire
1/12 ME-109
Ace Hobby Pitts Special
Electrifly Fokker D-7
Eflite ultra-lite SE5A
Peter Rake 45" Sopwith Triplane

Both 1/12 survived the BoB and Mass Carnage!

I did some quick math and there were 379 pilots X average 5 planes per ...

Is it possible there were over 1800 aircraft at NEAT ?? Wow

Great time and folks!!

Dennis

The coolest plane I flew all weekend was the last plane I flew before leaving. Thayer let me fly his beautiful Albatros B1. What a honey (I'm referring to the plane of course ). I wish I'd taken some close up pics of her because she has a little surprise in the nose.

I built a Funjet Ultra at the show with a very hot setup. It was the one that exploded mid air above the pond at about 160MPH
