YS 61 (YS-61R) Pattern Engine ( Parts Engine )
Available is a YS61R rear exhaust ( Long Stroke ) engine. I do not know the entire history of this engine and do not have the box or paperwork associated with it, I only know the condition of what I have on-hand. I have included several pictures to allow you to determine the condition of the engine as best possible. I did not disassemble it to the point of removing the crank shaft and the bearings, but it has all been cleaned up and inspect as to the best of my ability. The bearings feel good and the piston is smooth in the cylinder while producing significant compression during turning. By referencing the exploded view provided by the manufacture, I have identified all the missing parts and highlighted them in both the exploded view and parts list images. I have no need for a rear exhaust engine at this point, but understand that this is a great engine that has mostly been used with a tuned pipe and header on pattern planes. Thanks for looking.

The YS61R is still for sale. I have not committed to rebuilding it for myself, but researched the option and have considered it a worthwhile pursuit, whether for myself or another individual. An additional project will simply divert my attention from my current interests with RC flying. Anyways, I am patient and have no shortage of planes to fly at the moment.
