lol, nice, feel a little bad contaminating the quad thread with all the y6 questions, so a proper thread is genius!
the 45mm controller holes is for kk board, and 30mm for cc, yes?
do you think the u/c will be stable enough?

I only have MultiWii based board.
Most of them have a 45mm footprint.

Sorry for that but i don't know what you mean by "u/c".

Yes it have ton of u/c space...!
The "Prop" are draw at 45mm from motor mount. To see if they clear the ground.
And i will post another picture showing how much space is left from the prop to the ground.

The motor I listed is very good with 8x4 props.

I saw in your post here http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showp...&postcount=259, that M2M will be +/- 20 cm.

A little short for 8x4, I think if you scale it a little (maybe 23-25 cm M2M) we'll have more choice in different engine/props combos.

If not, I'll go with the 10gr on this frame, because I really want a mini Y4 .

8" prop will not do it.. LOL

If you want a Y4 with 8" prop you could look at that one:
http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showp...6&postcount=35

You should have lot more distance between prop i think.. even make it wider... will need much wider.

No ?

I didn't make any calculation just did think it would pass with 25cm M2M.

Thank you for the link, I'll maybe go with that one for the motors I listed.

And keep this one for the 10gr, I have for of them buggers waiting in my box

I like the leg length you show above but as long as it works with the HK 10g with prop adapters making them shorter is fine with me.
