Anyone have the specs on the new Himax motors at NEAT Fair??

HB-3615-2100
HB-3615-3200
HB-3630-1000
HB-3630-1500

Some geared... some not price range for direct drive was $69-$79 at one of the vendors.

Anyone tried one of these yet?? I assume these are B40 sized?

Picture can be seen here:

Check the NEAT 03 page, and look for picture 129_2921.JPG

The 3630 motors are nearly identical in size to a B50S, with the 3615s being a bit shorter. The last digits refer to KV. That's about all we know at this point as neither Sal nor Jarvis have the Io or Rm yet. I nearly bought one of the 3630s from Sal, but figured I'd wait 'til the numbers come in to decide which. Sure do look good for the price.

Wow... that's awesome. Didn't think they were that big. That's huge. Sweet. Lots of new cheaper brushless options coming out... it's a good time to be in electrics.

I was poking around on Sal's site this morning and stumbled upon some data:

http://www.nesail.com/Maxxprod/mpi-26.html

The constants are now published for the Maxx Products HiMaxx 3630 and 3615 motors. Sweet! I immediately started plugging away in MotoCalc and came up with some fairly tasty combos for the 3630-1500. Still, I'd like to see a higher KV wind of this motor. Can't beat the price.

Combo for a Warmliner

I have a Sprinter I was about to outfit with a 2820/10 and I ran across these on Sal's site. Don't have moto calc @ home so what would be a good Himax + GB combo for a 8-10 warmliner. Great price Sal has on these and hear they are comperable (not same) to Hacker at 1/2 the cost. I think from what I see these are the B-50 sze and I need something in the B-40 Class.

The black outrunner (similar to the PJS line) is a Himax too?

Maybe the last lines in the data tablet starting with hc... ?
