And the HK Hawk is the same plane as the NitroPlanes T-45...If you want to see a build thread then just look at the CMP NitroPlanes T-45 thread.......

I like CMP too!!!...I'm working on my T-45 as we speak...I can't believe how much plane you get for so little $$$---I'm happy and looking forward to many flights..

HK Bae 90mm Hawk

Guy's I have one it is fibreglass with built up wings. The kit is finished of beautifully, how ever she does carry a bit of weight and you will need to really plan it out. I have a jetfan 90 with a Het 700-68 running 8s to which is coming from Extremerc in Oz. The problem I have now is i dont have the retracts as they ran out. Unknown as to when they will be back in stock. The ducting is great everything fits nicely without too much stuffing around. There are a couple of things that I have changed on her. i would trust the push rods they supply, I'm going with carbon. The canopy is screwed on so that got cahged I placed 2 pieces of ply under the front and a solid block at the rear with a hatch latch. There are 2 small pieces of alloy for the mounting of the wing to go into the fuselage, however where they have cut the slot it's been made to big so I had to cut a small piece of hardwood in to make it a tight fit. The pilots are not to scale and i ahd to trim down the rear so I could get his helmet of the canopy, also had to trim some of the sides so they could sit in straight. Need to epoxy / microfill the gaps around the inlet and the ducting tubes. no biggy. It doesn't come as stated in Scott's sneak peak video, eg drop tank fixed undercarriage, so I'm a little disappointed. The instruction manaul isn't great deal of help as it doesn't have a check list as you get with other kits, the C of G is out so they can't have flown it before going to market.

I have sent an e-mail to the factory today with regard U/C, etc as a few people have said they were missing. As for C of G, they said they HAD flown it and thought it was ok....well, if you dealt with these factories as I do, you wouldn't be very suprised to hear that...they were told to get it changed.

Mine came today. It's my Christmas present, so can't play with it yet....just a quick check for damage. All arrived in perfect condition, she's a real looker, but as mentioned no drop tank / fixed gear / wheel wells or doors. Don't mind about the tank / gear but, as ill be going the retract route, could really use the wells and doors. Sure hope HK comes good with the missing parts, its a beautiful bird.
