Large Numeric Digits on an Eagle Tree Power Panel
Eagle Tree normally displays 4 quantities per "page" on their power panel display, in alpha-numeric form. I've been wanting to display a single number in larger format so it could be read from further away. Example: Headspeed on a helicopter... or mAh remaining. Perhaps it could be read from a few feet away in hover.
Attached to this post is example code on how to do this with an Arduino. The underlying Arduino>ETPP connection is described here. The same I2C and Eagle Tree routines are used in this code (with one minor tweak that allows custom characters to be more correctly addressed).
The point of this code is those custom characters, and mapping them into "quadrants" to build large digits.
