Hi Twiz,
sounds all so familiar.
What engine and prop combination have you put in.
Good luck tomorrow.
Cheers

Here is my CG study.

EDITED much later ...

NOTE !

Removed comments as I find NO FORWARD SWEEP in my actual model
therefore the calcs were based on bad data and assumptions.

I will do another study shortly.
It will be based on what I have in hand not Pic or conjecture.

Sorry for earlier miss queue.
Bob

Just saw those too...pretty cool looking. Is this setup just like a delta wing with elevon mixing, or does it treat the flaps as the elevator?

Hi, wondering how big of a spinner this plane would use? I am guessing that its someplace between 40mm and 50mm.

After having the FOX I would PASS on the RTF version and put my own selected gear into it.

That way you can inspect the construction and hinging and do it right the first time.

Completely agree, I tend to like metal gear servos on wings and deltas. Being able to select a motor / prop combo that fits my flying style and 5000' elevation makes the plane into something that's flies great.

Totaly Agreed, OJ !

Air is pretty thin at 5000.
Flying a plane in Denver vs Chicago was a real surprise.

But I thermaled a small 2M Gerassis Fox at Joseph for nearly 1/2 hour, go figure.

I pulled the trigger on my Pioneer "KIT" last PM .

The thing that really made me unhappy with the Fox was those swivel hinges.
Very miserable to replace "after" fuse was assembled.
It flies great.

Would anyone who has a Pioneer take a look at their WINGS and sight down them
and let us know about how much wash out is molded into them ? if any

Thanx

Bob
