Mike I shot you a PM. My fan looks good. The stators are very well glued in place with what I think is Hysol.

So unless I'm missing something I think I'm good to go.

Glue

Hi caps,

Regarding misplaced stators:
Some month ago i got a new set of glue (10 bottles with 50 gramm each).
Unfortunately the whole glues were of bad quality.
As i'm always making series of 10 stators, i realized very soon that the viscosity was not the same as usual, and switched back to the older glue after the first set of 10 stators.

From my point of view they looked correct, and so i used them for my customers.
But at the end of the day this glue does not stop to cure and was getting more and more crystalline.
Means, it was becoming harder and harder and harder,..... but should stay a bit of elastic. the result was that if there was i kind of impact, the stator broke lose in the carbon tube and lost his position at the rear end of the shroud.

In the meantime most of them were coming back for replacement, and i think there might be 2 of them still out only.
Most of them were sold here in Europe, so i personally think that everything is OK now in the states.

So i have to say sorry again to those who have been affected.
Rainer

Those are actually on the way. They get modified and molded into the model though.

Rainer,
Why not offer them? I havent gotten to run these at any length, but the 120hv's are a VERY tight fit. It would of been nice for the tailcones to be about a 1/2" longer and 1/8" more in inside diameter.

Plus i much prefer to purchase things from the original designer of the base product.

I prefer TAMs add-ons. He has a professional shop with tooling capabilities that blow your mind. He also has great support and fast shipping, stateside.

I wouldnt run my ESC's in a tailcone anyway, makes the batt leads longer than they need to be & blocks up the rear of the motor. Better to have the ESC in front of the fan with its heatsink protruding into an inlet duct, wire length is more balanced.
