Yes, they are.

When I read the install manual, at first I was puzzled by the instruction 'to glue the mounting ear lud on the shroud with the gap in the rear'. But I was not sure if the gap should be inside next to the shroud, or outside. Then it dawned on me that the gap might help facilitate attaching the tailpipe; where I've previously had to work around gapless ear lugs when routing the tapes. So I'm assuming that's the purpose of the gaps; if someone would like to confirm?

Rotor tips out of shroud?

Hi all,
Am having free some days after 3 years of work, so i do have only a laptop with me. Been sking in the mountains here, so i got this information one day to late.

Whatever happened, i've to say sorry for the circumstances down in Rochester NY.

Please make pictures from the back side of the stator/shroud with assembled motor. And show them here, have no outlook installed at the laptop. The same with good pictures from the front also. And of course send them to team@ejets.at also. will have a look within the next days after returning from my holidays. And please measure the length or depth of the shroud in mm.

Anyway pls. send both units back asap on my behalf for the shipping, will return the shipping costs as all other costs also.

And of course you will get asap "good units" as all odds do have. No idea what happened, but will take care of them with my best strenghts.

So in the meantime pls. don't worry, everthing will be cleared and done to satisfy you.

With our best regards for a happy new year,

Tam offers balancing services. How did you determine it needs it?

Same question as Bob; what symptoms are leading you to believe that your fan needs dynamic balancing? The Jetfan rotors are all pre-balanced from the manufacturer.

Oh! I just assumed the motor and rotor needed to be balanced together. The motor is HET and it says dynamically balanced. I did not know the Jet fan came balanced. So once assemed it should be ready to go, huh?
