To me it looks like the stator is setting up high or it is installed backwards. I was looking through the attachment file and couldn't find one unit setup like that.

Just hard to believe they send off both fans assembled like this??? On a side note, there is no yellow eJets sticker on it either, not that I care though...

I took a measurement of the depth of the stator on mine and its setting in at 21mm.

How well does the adapter fit the shaft? A lot of motors have undersize shafts.
What motor?

It started out pretty snug but after several times on and off it slips off easy now. Do you think I oblong the adapter? I need to send Mike Warren an email and see if he has replacement adapters.

Thanks for the measurements guys!
My stator is 17mm back from front of shroud and 8mm ahead of back of shroud.
Rainer needs to chime in here!

I think that may be it, the back of my stator is flush with the back of the shroud. Here is a pic I found of what mine looks like.

Yeah, that's it!
I don't understand how he can assemble, balance and run it without noticing - worries me!

I too hav received my 2 x JetFan 90 recently; but hav yet to assemble with a motor.

But I did place the rotor in the fan against the motor tube; and the rotor blades were within the shroud.

. Good Luck.

Merry X'mas to all.
