Is the foam easy to sand?
Just wondering how hard it wold be to get the surface compleatly smooth

I just wonder how hard it is to get a smooth surface after the plane is glued together. I guess it needs some sanding before you can cover it with fiberglass.

approximation of the surface layers of 50mm at a length of 2000mm, a fine sandpaper treatment within 0.5-1.5 mm. I do it for one hour on the entire model

It´s easy to sand on round areas, but on the most areas not necessary!!

I build a "tetris" Su27.

Second to that! The foam he uses is easy to sand. And sanding is minimal if you pay attention on gluing phase.
