Original 1958 Berekely Astro Hog! Built!
I've finally come to the conclusion that I'll never again fly my beloved Berkeley Astro Hog again. I bought it in 1985, it was my first plane, got a Fox Eagle III (not included) and flew it to get my feet wet in planes. It had a minor crash that was repaired but I've never finished sanding and repainting it, so it's still in the original colors that were laid on in '58. As you can see the ailerons make a Sig Hog look sick, and if you put the two in the air I can promice the Berkeley Hog will put the Sig Hog to shame. I've moved my Hog from house to house through the years, I now own 3 Hogs and an original unbuilt Berkeley Astro Hog kit (which is also for sale for the right price.) I'd love to see someone buy this that remembers how Hogs are supposed to fly and all the glory that goes with them. I'd like to get $200, she's very rare and I've never seen another other than in rare kit form. PM me here, The plane is located in the Denver metro area in CO if you want to see it. The stabalizer is removable so shipping is very possible, the wing is 72" so the crate would be large but possible.
