Butane/Propane solder "iron"

Anyone use a gas solder tool on rc wires? Seems like you'd burn off the insulation?

How about soldering glue?

Get an electric Weller 40W (or something comparable)... it will serve you well.

I use a gas solder tool when I solder plugs. I can regulate the temperature, and have not burned anything yet. The tool also blow hot air to crimp the heat shrink tubes. The tool also came with various cutting devices and bits.
