Just make sure to orient the antennas 90 degree. I came across on a guy's review that he did a range test of it and got a great range. He was flying with FPV, GPS, & telemetry during his test.

Any new reports of actual flight use? I might use this in some of my smaller gliders or maybe DLGs. So I am going to want a lot of range.

Unable to link?

I had been using a Futaba 6ex and had no problems linking the frsky TFR6. I recently upgraded to a Futaba 7C and was unable to link to it. Still works fine on the 6 channel transmitter - Any idea what is going on here? Any advice appreciated.

Figured out the problem.....I was pressing the reset button AFTER applying power. If I applied power WHILE pressing link button it worked like a charm! Guess I just need to follow directions a bit closer!!!

OK, you all sound like happy campers. Guess I can order with confidenc for my Futaba 9C with FASST module.

Anyone flying these in gliders or giant scale?

Sorry, I use this with my Quad and Hex. Here is a good review though, that should increase your confidence with this receiver. Good luck.

Same !! But these RXs are very good and 20% of the price of a Futaba branded one.

So are people using these in 50 cc gassers, etc?

Had some bad experiences with some "compatible" Rx's years ago, so a little shy.
But I need a few additional FASST Rx's, even the Futaba 617's are a bit expensive when you buy quite a few.

But just want to see what others in the 50 cc range are, as you are talking about a $25 RX in a $800 plus aeroplane.
But if these really are good, then its a no brainer.
