Weird KDS 450S tail rotor assembly problem
Hi all,
The tailblade holders on my KDS 450S are both attached to the metal piece that connects to the tail rotor assembly.
The problem is that when their bolts are fastened tight, only one of the tailblade holders can move on its own 'axis' so that the tail servo can move it to change the tail rotor's pitch.
The other tailblade holder CAN'T! When it's bolt is fastened tight, the entire holder is fastened tight, and the servo can't move it all.
Swapping the holders doesn't change it, so one may think it's the metal piece they're mounted on, but even replacing that piece with a brand new one doesn't change things a bit.
I thought that also replacing both the tailblade holders by new ones might have helped, but nope...
Loosening the bolt on the 'stuck' tailblade holder might be an option (as it moves easy and freely then), but then that bade holder will come off after a few flights, that has already happened, so that's no option.
So the question is, what to do now?
Thanks for the tips!
