Got mine for xmas today! SHE'S HUGE! Using a 5000mah 6s 20c Turnigy, and a AR8000, and a DX7s. it balances PERFECLY at 120mm (12cm). Just wondering... Is that the correct CG or is it off?

I was wondering where all the Xmas warbirds where, keep em comig and congrats!

I'm jonesing for my new Red Tail. She will be my first RC warbird with Benedini sound. Any recommendations for painting the Aces of Iron pilot the appropriate color for the Tuskegee pilot?

Yup...I do...his complexion should be dark...(Tuskegge pilots were Black men) I've two of them already.

welcome aboard with sound...you'll love it, keep in mind it will increase the wing loading and the need to ride a bit of power on with the landings than you're normally used too

Good advice...I will have to definitely be aware of that. I've gotten so spoiled with these 1700 birds that fly like trainers. You almost forget they really aren't meant to.

I can't wait to see the look on the faces of my buddies at my club when I throttle her up for the first time!

I'm actually putting a "Real sound" sound module from Model sounds inc. in my next one. the quality of the sound puts the Benedini to shame

Oh man don't tell me that. I invested in Benidini cause I thought it was the best out there. I want beefy, low frequency, realistic.

Nope, sorry, the Model Sounds Inc. "Real Sound" sound unit is "IMO" the Cadilac of them all right now....that's what I currently have in the new LX B-25 and will be installing the same in the new "Obsession" 1700 fms Mustang I've been slowly working on for the past many months.

The Benedini is good, but the Real Sound is outstanding and better, as well as lighter over all
