Hey guys, I just moved closer to a public field with a nice big asphalt runway so now I want to go bigger. I'm getting ready to order the FF and was wondering if FMS made any revision to the current one that BH sells or if they were going to based on feedback from this thread.

I really want to order this plane, but I wanted to know if I should wait or just pull the trigger now.

Looks fantastic! Great job! Callie never disappoints. What did you use for the chrome?

I used a spray paint chrome which is branded as Jet Spray Paint - Bright Chrome. It's an enamel spray paint. The only problem is I can't put a clear coat over it as it looses it's chrominess. If that's a word.

Yeah I am very impressed with the quality of Callie's work. But I made a rookie error which most Aussies should pick up

I'm a little low on funds and i can't afford to buy another esc or bec, i was wondering if the stock bec and esc is ok?

I'm useing them in 3 of the 4 planes I have and they are fine. the only reason I changed the other one to a 100A ESC is because I did the Prop mod and it pulls more amps than the stock one is safe with....other than that the stock electronics are fine

If you would like to have a better looking pilot figure for the new 1.7 mm FMS War Birds like i did for mine, Aros, & V8.... I would be willing for a fee of $30.00 to make them up if you'll provide the 1/7 scale Aces of Iron figure and cover the shipping cost back to you....and I'll mold up the lower body half and blend the two halves together and paint them up.

It takes me about a week , in my off time, to get one all done, fitted, and painted up

Lol, yeah cheers mate. I have since noticed that the allied "fin flash" suffered the same dyslexic application as the Southern Cross Can't fix it either as the decal will take off all the paint and be a royal pain to reapply neatly. Oh well, lesson learned.
