Looking into it now mate. Just ordered a roll to see if it's any good. I'll be able to use it for other stuff if not.

Cheers,

Steve

What I was asking is if you have any idea how they (FMS) might handle the replacements. Will they provide a set of the new retracts to anyone that purchased the V1/V2? Will they require the original set back? I would guess they might handle it like a recall. Per chance they wont do a recall / replacement at all? Who knows? Hope this makes more sense?

I wouldn't expect them to give anything away for free. There are plenty of people who have had no issue with the supplied retracts.

Now, as a good customer satisfaction and business move on their part, they need to directly notify those of us who did have issues and contacted them directly and notify each of us when we'll will be recieving our replacement retracts we have been waiting for....Like ME!!! and several others on here...V8 would be another one I know who did as well

I am not sure what their policy will be although to Brandon's point I think it would be sensible to take care of their customers who had problems with the old retracts...What the logistics would be (having you go through the distributor for a new set or direct through FMS) I'm really not sure.

I do know they won't leave any paying customer in the dust. One way or another they will make sure everyone has the upgraded retracts who deserve them.

I too am one who wrote and wrote FMS about my burned up originals as well as the burned up replacements... They need to ship them directly to us and not through the nightmares of BH...

OK Folks, now that I'm done with the P-47 and the hatch mod for the mustang, It's time to do the final "B" permenant Razor Back mod on the next P-51 mustang to more accurate Scale. I actually found some Photos of a "B" Red Tails
