I tried something new with mine yesterday. I went from an 11x5.5 to a 12x6 prop on my SuperTigre.10 motor. I didn't check it on the watt meter, but just eased my way into it and kept monitoring motor temps. After three battery packs I went back to the 11x5.5, not that I didn't totally like the 12x6 but I didn't notice any particular improvement and some things were a little more difficult to do. The motor stayed cool even after pushing it pretty hard, ambient temp was only in the mid eighties so it wasn't a very warm day. I think the motor used more battery capacity for the same flight time so it must have produce a little more power since it didn't just seem to convert it to excess heat. It's easier to slow it down and do some nice low slow stuff with the 11x5.5 but I will say probably the most notable place where the 12x6 helped was in hovering, but the 11x5.5 does hover plenty good so it's no big deal.

I've got the 103 gram Omega on mine with the 12x6. Really like it. Flying 1800's.

Yes will be up there with the wife and kids. I will put them to bed in the mini-van Friday night so I can make sure we leave @ 6am.

Thanks Guys... Yeah... too bad about trailer... Already have a new one gonna have it customized for my planes this week. Bad news.... Guy who hit me was uninsured! I do still have my van and thats plenty big enough for all my twisted hobbys planes... Flew the little slick this morning... That little plane amazes me every time I fly it!

Why is it always the ones without insurance, or even a drivers license. I'm surprised he wasn't hammered as well. That's the good thing about flying rc planes, it always seems to pick you up when your down. The best cure for the worst day ever is a few flights with your favorite plane, works for me every time.
