just ordered my shp should be here in a few days. any tips on the build?

You may know this already but the newest version uses a pull/pull setup for the rudder and the manual and build videos have not been updated for this.

well im gonna run the recommeded 3s setup so would you guys run the pull pull or servo in the rear?

Pull pull

Read through a couple of the manuals for the larger birds to get a feel for the install of the pull pull.

im probably going to buy hitec 65mg servos for it but are there any other options for servos that have more speed?

5065mg's you can get them for like 32$ each at Todd's models.com I think.

havent tried any hitec digitals, but 65 and 225 developed a bit of slop after literally a couple of flights while savox 0256 and 0257 doesnt have slop after couple of month of flying...

mine and a few others were missing some hardware to do the pull pull setup , little threaded pieces that the cable goes into , you need 4 , only came with 2 ..

i used 85's on the tail of mine ...with the amount of throw and the sizes of the rudder and elevator , for me , 65's wont cut it ...ive not tried savox yet ...could be a nice upgrade ...

I used a g10 servo horn extension for the elevator on mine, didn't need it for the rudder to have full throw. Mine has Savox 257mg servos.
Still for sale tho....

I use SH-0255 in my 48'' edge, and love em. They are evry bit as fast as the HS-65mg maybe a milisecond diffrence or two, they are digital metal gear and twise the torqe of the 65mg.

Well already answerd this in the fanatics thread but i'll add on...I dont know if you would even have enough room to put them in....also You would probably wouldn't be able to get neutral cg.
