Hey, I was thinking of using the Aurora RC lights (Genesis) on this size airframe for fly this coming fall and winter. But I think the more white you have on a scheme, the better (like the MXS). What are your thoughts?

Those light systems are pretty awesome, but like you said, the more white on the fuse, the better! I've got the Blue/White/Black MXS, and it's really easy to tell top from bottom!

I have a 300 SHP with OMEGA 103G, 3s2650mah 30C Sky Lipo, CC Thunderbird 54A ESC, and I've mainly just used an APC-e 13x6.5 prop. Amazing motor! My APC-e 13x6.5 setup rockets through 200 feet of climb like it's nothing.

I decided to try different props this last week. Love a VOX 12x7 wood on it for sport and it worked out good.

I put a watt meter on it today and got these results:
12x6 APC-e 37.5A draw / 431 W
12x7 VOX Wood 42.8A / 489.1 W
APC-e 13x6.5 50.11A / 579.57W ( my standard gets me 5:30 flight time of mixed/4:30 Hard & on 9mph+ wind days)
VOX 13x6.5 Wood 46.28A / 533.9W

I really like the Xoar wood electric 13x6.5 on mine.

For some reason, I can not down load manual on 3DHS web page. Would any one have a link?

This one is the Blue v4. The pull wires were already in place taped. Very cool.

Having a diffcult time finding the cut out for the elevator. I have put a few 3DHS planes togerther, sure it is above the pull pul wires. Any one have any photos?

Yeah that's a step up alright. Let us know how you like it. I had my maiden flight of an original 46" Vyper this morning. It's sweet but was really windy so I could get her trimmed out so I landed it not too long after taking off with it.

I had 2 of the 48" Super Vypers, and they were fun. Since I got a 74" Edge and 70" Slick, I've found it's true that "bigger flies better" so it's time to grow my fleet.

It's a shame as this v4 really flies well!
