Think I'll go ahead and order the 2815 for my dads shp. The Omega 103g on a 13x6.5 in my SHP has been awesome, so sometimes its hard to go against you know works well in a certain plane.

Thanks for the feedback!
Good choice; let us know how your dad likes it!

Guys I've got a new (15 flights) Motrolfly 2815-850 to sell. Offering on some 3DHS threads that would be a match before I go to Classifieds.

Flies with 13x6.5 or 14x7 at around 400-420W on a 25-30C 2200 3S. I flew it on my new AJ Yak, but wanted more hard vertical and tumbling power. With that big cowl was a tad slower than I wanted.

No crashes, no prop strikes on this one. Smooth and quiet motor.

PM if interested. Thanks

After 379 flights over 4 seasons of flying I am retiring my yellow, V2 SHP. I purchased a new blue V3 about 2 months ago when they were still available so all of the electronics have gone into the new SHP. The old one served me well. I purchased it early in my second season of flying RC planes and it has had many hard landings and minor crashes. However the last crash was a bit more than the motor box and fuse could handle.

So, I am looking forward to the maiden and the many years of service I will get from the V3. The set-up is the recommendation 3DHS had when they started the SHP - Extreme Flight Torque 2818T/900 brushless outrunner motor, Extreme Flight Airboss Elite 45 amp ESC, 3S 2200mAh LiPo spinning a 13x6.5E prop. I am using Hitec HS-65MG servos all the way around. This V3 really looks nice. I love the look of the SFG's and look forward to seeing how they affect flight.

My old SHP - RIP

I have been considering putting a Omega 130 in my V3 SHP just to see how it would fly with a little more power. I like the Hacker A30-16m I have in it, but would not mind a tad bit more power.

Wow, 379 flights on one plane - I can't imagine that

I have 223 flights on my V2 SHP, and I have another built waiting. I have a V3 NIB and would love to hear what you think of the V3 after spending so much time on the V2.

Your thoughts would be much appreciated.

The new blue ones are nice looking, but the yellow is/was awesome.
