It gets messy, I keep gettin smudges from my fingers having ca on them. Anything clean that off when I am done?

Yes--use a little CA debonder on a paper towel to wipe of CA marks.

The exact same location as the CG for normal flight. Lots of BS out there about the CG being rear ward for 3D but the proper CG is the proper CG no matter what.

I don't think that 130g is as strong as it should be. My 103g was a lot stronger in that plane. I'm not using the 103 right now if you want to try it. The right wing on my 41" EPP Edge ripped off in mid flight a couple of weeks ago. The 103 was in it and made crazy power at it did in the SHP.
I expected more out of it when I installed it in that plane.

Yea, the motor feels a little tight, but I don't know Omega motors. The vertical pull-out is very authoritative now with the 14-7 prop...and I still get 5 min. flight times with mixed flying. Perhaps the Thunderbird esc is holding it back a bit, maybe needs a bit more timing. Even with the 3S/2200 LiPo, the AUW is still 44 oz., so it looks like I'm good to go. Did you ever check the watts or amps when you flew it with the 130 motor? I will say it hovers at least as easily as my 3DHS EPP Edge 540.

I never checked it with the 130, but Im l pretty sure the numbers were better on the 103, than what you show with 130 on a 13x6.5 ..

The gyro is set to minimum gain but it helps in windy landing, for sure. I should crank it up and see if it helps hovering...It doesn't seem to respond very quickly, though.The 130 seems to be performing as designed, at least on paper. I do see that many owners of 47-48 inch planes prefer the 130 over the 103. Sorry about your wing departure. BTW, I did up the spoilerons to -10, and the landings are slick as can be.

So -10 is downward deflection?

Upwards on Futaba. It's just a number. Seems to be about 2-3 degrees.

Yes. Very effective at keeping the nose down. Makes very nice landings.
