Radian FPV
I have been flying this Radian for about 2 years, and taught others to fly from it. It's a great trainer.
So I decided to cut it up and install some FPV gear in it. The antenna and OSD was embedded into the wing. I am using the Dragon Link for RC TX and RX. At this time I am using 5.8Ghz for Video. Can Read more on my Vimeo page of some the issues I had getting it in the air. I am using 3c 2200mah. Getting 20-30 minute flights. I started ordering parts for my ground station about 1 1/2 years ago. This ones pretty long. Just to get an idea what I was seeing and dealing with the antenna

what did you use to make the viewing shade for your lcd?
your base station looks nice. I have the same LCD. |

Some light weight sheat metal with a 1/4 lip around the bottom. With a rubber trim on top.
It's velcroed to LCD edge. I been using the LCD Screen in my shop when setting up or testing and at the field for setting up the OSD. It's mostly there for others to view. I have been flying with the Fat Sharks. |
