Genesis Cat 3/16" Flex Shaft Conversion.

I would like to convert my Genesis to a 3/16" shaft. Stronger and better prop selection. I know that I need to remove the Teflon sleeve and change the motor collect. What I not sure about is what I have to do to the strut. Do I need to replace the whole strut or will a 3/16" prop shaft fit in the existing strut. Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated.

hi kazi,if you get the HOR 3/16 strut with an easy mod it fits straight in the original position.
All you have to mod is the upright,remove 3mm form either side of the upright,slide in and bolt up,as easy as that

Thanks for the info Guys exactly what I needed. I love this boat, I run it near to a slightly used boat ramp and it draws a crowd every time. People can't believe how fast it is and mines not really souped up.
