ok this has prob been covered so many times but i can never find a thread that has a list of prop sizes and then a list of motors that have been proven to work well with each prop on a quad?

all i am after is a motor for a quad that will turn a 10x4.7 sf prop and b ok for aeriel photography and video no fpv.

many thanks in advance and yes i have used the search function plus many hours of looking a motor specs and then trying to match them to a 10x4.7 sf prop, but i just not getting very far.

here i used hextronic dt700 motors with a 10/6 gws DD prop so it will swing a 10/47 all day long without getting hot it will also swing 12/45 nicely too but warms up a little over body temp with that prop

Any motor in the 700 - 800 kV range should be ok. Obviously some are better than others quality wise. The above choice is popular as well as the 750 kv 2830-14 by RC-Timer. A budget motor, but good for what it is. I use 3 on a T-Copter, swinging 10 x 4.7's, equipped for AV and FPV.

I'm happy with Flycam 925 kv.

Have used them on a quad for countless hours and they still run happy.

Even use them on 4S with no problemo what so ever.

i like 925 to 950kv too for avp the vibes seem less or at a different frequency to the camera but i run them on 9inch props

great stuff now find my dt700 750 mod vid and do the bits you like to make these motors hard to break
