Hi All

I hope that answers your questions.

I have a few pictures tonight, first of the tag that Merrill is putting inside each fuselage and one of the whole fuse. and we follow it up with one of the center section of the main panel. (the fuse has a canopy, I should have took the rubber band off so it wouldn't look like a slip on nose cone)

the center section has been glassed to help increase strength and help keep the sheeting healthy, I have been know to push a plane beyond it's limits on launch.
today I did not have much building time so I worked on the outer panels for a bit...it is coming along and I can't wait to fly it.

It is time for me to get some sleep and go to work again so talk to everyone later.

thanks C, I am following along with a lot of interest! Can't wait to see you and the plane at the Fall Fest I had a chance to take the sticks on Merrills at the Bentwing, got it low and speced it out!and cuz I am picking my kit up at the Fall Fest! And with a lot of shutdowns at work over the holidays, I will have a lot of time to build! Keep feeding us the pics, they are greatly appreciated!

Hi All

Once again I have been building, and I have gone a long way and there is still quite a bit to do yet.

Today I only got to do part of my daily job due to a chemical spill so I had to leave the plant. I should have come home and slept but the Oculus was calling for me to build...after many hours you can look at the pictures and see how far I am now.

so I am cutting it short tonight because I need to go back to work in a few hours and put in a full shift so I will talk to you later.

You're really gettin to it! Looking good so far. It's all the small stuff though that seems to eat up a lot of time, the big stuff goes quick. Keep at it and you'll get there.

Wow. You have done in a week what it took me a year to do with my bubble dancer. Nice work and it looks like a very nice kit.

Hi Everyone

Not much time for building today, But I did have a little bit so I worked on putting gussets on the outer tip panel to increase the strength in case of a tip hit.

You might think gussets are a waste of time and add more weight to the plane but the weight is very minimal and after you catch a wing tip and spin around on landing you will be glad you put them on.

More later Clarence

Hey Al check your messages or e-mail
Now you're committed! No excuses now. Looks like I'll be at the Fall Fest after all, want to check it out at some point.

Think I'm going to brew a beer for the fest, any style requests? I'm thinking of a Negra Modelo type beer I do that is tasty. Too late to do a real Octoberfest, but maybe a pseudo O-Fest?
