Maybe my problem was that I used way too much flaperon when I tried it on my switch. I had it on a round knob so I could vary the amount , but never tried much many settings other than full down.

So spoilerons are just opposite of flaperons? A 3 position switch makes sense.

Hi,
Can anyone point me to any pics that have been posted on enlarging the battery compartment. I know there was talk of using the bomb bay. I saw a wood ply piece across the bottom as a divider. Did they remove that to slide the battery in.
Getting close to getting my wings at our flying club. I have a 3536-10 with 40 amp ESC in her and she is only getting 6 minutes on 2200 3s batts.
Thanks

touche, yes you can put a bigger or secon batt in the bomb bay, but maybe you want to play with your prop first to reduce diameter and last longer... check this simple and free calc.. http://www.s4a.ch/eflight/motorcalc_e.htm

Here's the only pics I have of battery bays. The first 3 are of a pair of 2.2 packs and the 4th pic is of a 3sx3000 pack.

I hope these help. I hope by the angle of the last battery pic you can see where to insert a long knife into the battery bay on an angle to remove a very flimsy thin piece of foam wall. This will open up a lot of room. Maybe trim the side too because the compartment isn't centered on the door.

Thanks Guilo,
I have just finished a nose job on mine. The landing was going great till the last 2 feet. Ripped out the firewall on one side. Fortunately it went back together easily. Looks good and was hoping to test her this am but the wind is up.
Old harry Hindsight told me not to take that last flight as the winds were gusty so I paid the price... I have a parallel plug on order (deans) and a new PSU and I charger. 6 batteries get to be a bit much one at a time..lol

I just ordered a Sensei, I will have it Friday.
I have been into 3D for 1.5 yrs. now, but I want something that I can relax with.
Can this plane fly slow without a stall?
How slow will it go?

Nice to hear it. Welcome to the sensei thread. According to one calc I used it was either 16 or 18 mph. To me it is VERY slow. The plane at WOT is actually pretty fast , it just doesn't look like it.

A 3D guy in my club has one of these; he puts it in the air to chill out, I think you'll be OK...

You'll love the Sensei.
I've tought my 13 Y.O son to fly with it.
These days he flies on a buddy-box with me using a glow Alpha 40 and in between flights where he practices the manouvers required to get his solo license he relaxes by flying the Sensei Solo.

He enjoys it so much that every now and then he asks to fly only the Sensei.
This Saturday he did 13 flights with it (2200 batteries, 8 minute flights)

It can handle some aerobatics but I do not recommend it, I think it puts too much stress on the plane, especially on the points that retain the wings.

Brgds,
Danny

I replace the stock motor with an Eflite Park 480 1020Kv.

it is easy to mount.

I use a PZ T28 prop adapter and the PZ 9.5 x 7.5 propeller (also made for the T28)

I don't know where to post this, so this looks like a good a place as any. Sorry if it's the wrong spot But here goes;

Does or did anybody post something somewhere about using PVC pipe to hang several planes above and below each other? I'm starting to need something like that.

Thanks!

The only thing about the Sensei that I noticed was; You need a looooong "runway", 'cause once you land, it just loves to keep rolling.
