Jim, after 5 days it finally sunk in...your last name is Greek right? Leave it to me...a day late and a dollar short BTW, it took me about fifteen minutes to spot the cross atop of that mountain. Did anybody else spot it

Where in Greece Jim. One of the pics looks like a familiar land mark but, I'm drawing a blank

Mike.

Yes Mike, Greek
We were all over Greece.
In order: Athens, Santorini (island), Athens again, Larissa, Ziaka (Mom's village), Germa (Dad's village), Thessaloniki, plus more...then back to Chicago via Rome.
Everywhere we went (except the island), there was family.
Being with family is what it's all about.

The landmark is The Acropolis (which contains The Parthenon).

Care for some Ouzo Mike
Cheers!

Jim

A bottle or two? Surely you jest my friend
More like 8-10.
We left a lot of space in our luggage on the way there.
On the way back the bags were full...of liquor and goodies.

Jim, your blog is one of the best I've ever seen. From the frank zappa look-a-like greecian merchant to the BBQ food (yum yum!), the helicopters, and the N scale looking train set......just totally fun!
