So when did this topic come about. I just ran across it as I was logging off. I bought my batteries from Robert up at TERC. He and Todd pro matched mine using the 900 he has in back. Love that battery machine. Almost like a piece of art it is.

Maybe two races and a few practices. Intellects it is for me

Hi Brain and Doug, You asked about our machine for batteries? Its been on our benches since the popularity of Nicad cells began. It also has the abilty to be used on NIMH cells like we use. It holds, cycle counts, charging variations, amp adjustments, mah reading and ton more details that are told by this machine. Over all it gives us a great way to match cells, view data and how a cell wlll perform on the track.

Match cell pks do make a difference like you said Gotta. You can do them yourself on a digital charger if you own one. Just mark on each individual cell voltage, amps and mah on each cell or battery. Do this after each cell is charged properly. Next you'll match them up close as possible by using your numbers/data off each cell. If you have very few batteries for racing then this may be hard to do. You really need 100 plus cells on hand to even start matching cells. A little tip I thought I'd share

Mitch is correct in saying "You can use your digital charger to match your cells". It won't be near as accurate as our machine but pretty darn close. Just be sure your cells don't false peak and give you the wrong numbers.
