I hope I don't get one and say -

Just saw the video, I like it!!! I just think it's cool looking design, and she obviously flys nice.

One thing..... did anyone else see something fly off the plane at about the 25 second mark in the video?

Yes...well kind of..

I think It was Lee Majors puke !.

Well then, it looks to me like they had the camera really zoomed in and that black fleck that goes from right to left and disapears is just that, a black fleck. Perhaps an optical conclusion ?. By me anyway.

i bet the stryker q guys are pissed they should have waited for this instead. Not all will be dissappointed but now have to buy another new toy. I think its better because it has a bigger wingspan, seems more aerobatic and on rails, also more room for upgrading.

I look at it as more like another member of family.

....more options for customers.

Instead of anyone being pissed, everyone should be more happy.

Everytime that I bought a new computer, I ended up seeing a newer/fancier choice a few months later.

So it is ok to follow the Q with a smaller Micro version....but not ok to follow it with a bigger version??? LOL

Not in the slightest mate. This one is out of my price range, but if the price drops like the Habu did, then she will be mine, oh yes I can wait.

I'm not upset at all. I have little use for planes that need to use landing gear. I also think that after seeing the video I'm leaning towards waiting for a while for this one since I didn't see anything in the video that amazed me. I still like it....I just don't love it. It's cool and all.

It looks cool but probably won't find it's way into my hanger, at least until my hanger has a basement or two car garage to store all the planes I want! Plus, I'm worried I wouldn't have the space needed to fly a larger plane of this speed. The Stryker Q or the UM version will be better choices for me. And, I'm still waiting on a Carbon-Z Beast or Sbach.

Interesting comment and it goes to show we all have certain aspects we look for, likes or dislikes. The reason I have not bought a Stryker is I like to do touch and goes so to me, having landing gear is desirable. I was about to buy a F-27Q when I saw this.

So even though it is a little on the high price side it does fill a need. My club has a runway that is paved so having grass that impedes the use of landing gear is not something that I luckily have to worry about. Anymore, I am looking for retracts where possible. I do have a few EDF jets with no wheels but if given a choice I like to have the landing gear.

I like the combination of speed, acrobatics and retracts and have ordered one. Will be interesting to watch the various posts and experiences once they start appearing in something other than a video and we get more and more facts and details.

Good comments and opinions people. Well I guess the retracts can be optionable. You could grass land it. Or pavement land it. That's cool in my book.

It won't be in my hangar anytime soon. I do like the fact that they have a
Pnp version because I already have batts. 319.00 for pnp. Not too bad.

Good to hear you Stryker boys not taking this like a slap to the face and feeling bad for the Q coming out months before this.

Gryphon has a good analogy like building or buying a computer and knowing it will
Be old news in technology a few days later.

It's good to have variety and flavor to the same similar setups. More Taste at the fields.

Looks like I have about two months to make the necessary hangar space. I like it and plan to get one but the Vec Jet out of Texas was really revolutionary with vectored thrust and a wild spin cycle. But alas they went out of business so the Stryker and now the Scimitar are available for modified spin cycles. Well I will make it a little less painful and get the so called optional electric landing gear now and the plane when available. Too much good stuff. My micro Stryker arrived Friday and I am already looking at another plane. Mike H

Hi all,

Maybe I missed some posts.

I assumed it can land only on wheels (on paved surface).

Do you guys think it can also belly land on grass?

Thanks,

Gryphon
