here is the wiki:
http://code.google.com/p/cl-osd/w/list

and weather you need new code or not depends on what you want it to do!!
if you don't want/need any of the new stuff, then no you don't

I want the new stuff, I'm going to try to get the current sensor to work (it is doing something, but not quite working yet)

it by default does not show azimuth. I suppose it could, but I assume you are talking about home arrow, and distance.

The stuff in the middle of the sceen is the flight summary. The osd reads 0 speed, and thinks you are done flying, and is trying to show things like, flight time, max alt, and max distance. This is one of the things you can turn off if you want. You can also adjust when this shows up, I think there is a min speed, and a time, so say after 10 seconds of being under 5mph, it shows the summary.

First be sure you are getting a good gps fix, see what the sat count is. Next you have to be moving for the home arrow to work. There is no compas sensor, so it has no idea what direction you are facing, only what direction you are moving, and the more you are moving the better. The home arrow turns into an X if it can't tell what direction you are moving (sometimes will even happen if turning sharply or in a dive or flying into the wind with a very low ground speed)

Best way to test is to get a god GPS fix, and get in a car. (easier if someone else is driving, so you can look at the OSD)

I think my problem is a cracked circuit board

If anyone needs a GPS module, or has a spare G-OSD board, let me know.

it has 3 separate inputs for 2 voltages, and one for RSSI. (I do see that is not specifically mentioned)

the listed specs of the main board are 7.4~12V, not not sure it will like anything other than 2-3S

ok, thank you for the input.

can you please detail the v1 / v2 / rssi connections ?

i think i have found something about the pin30 on the cpu to be connected to rssi ?
if so, where is the config for connecting pin30 to v2 ?

thanks.

( though i am not going to change it and connect 4s... thank you for that )
