It's probably best to compile them yourself after making any changes you need... Ie Imperial or Metric and Callsign... The wiki linked on the previous page explains how to compile the files to create your hex files.

Can anyone please explain in easy terms how to do the complilation and flash ? since English is my third language, its a little hard for me to understand the Wiki page.

I've drafted a simple guide to flash your G-Osd using eXtreme Burner AVR. Hope this will be useful for someone.

I used ATmega88 in eXtreme Burner AVR it can flash firmware too (it have some warning). Thank's jonsg for guide

To fix the warning, just update the chips.xml file as per the pdf file.

That is very help ful - thank you !
but for some reason i go to the WIKI page and im unable to download the EEP and HEX files - a right click -> "save as" doesnt work. any idea why ?

perhaps somebody can email me these 2 small files ? i3dm@hotmail.com

Ok, slowly but safely i mamaged to download SVN + AVR studio and build the files.

SO now all it takes is programming. more coming soon...

DOes anyone know if i could use my Sparkfun pocket AVR programmer ?

Edit: this programmer works with AVRdude, can anyone explain how to flash the CL-OSD files with AVRdude ?

This line will flash both flash and eeprom.
im trying this command and im getting an error that it cant find CL-OSD.hex - how do i put in a correct path for my hex file or where do i need to put it for AVRdude to be able to read it ?

SUCCESS !!!! CL-OSD is now running perfectly (after re building CL-OSD.hex).

only problem is : 12.6V battery now shows 14.16V - how do i calibrate it ?

Move the small adjustment pots on your board...
Like it is described in the G-OSD manual.
