Flew mine for the first time yesterday. Only mishap was the canopy flew off on a high speed pass. I decided to keep mine a little lighter by leaving out the aileron servos, and setting up tailerons. Used the E-flight V-15 fan and motor on four cells. Moved CG back to 81mm from LE and plane flies great, plus it is light enough to hand launch.

The manual quotes between 70-75mm. 81mm isn't too much further back. There are reports that on HET F-16s going back to 85mm and even 90mm but I am wondering if this effects your elevator's neutral pitch?

Most F-16's I've seen - including HET's F-16 - have a bit of "up elevator" for neutral flying.

I would start at 75mm CG and have a bit of up elevator trimmed in as neutral. That is the leading edge of the Horizontal Stab is closer to the bottom of the fuselage fairing and the trailing edge is nearer to the top. About 3mm or so - better that it goes up rather than down as height is your friend

This one seems to be half the cost of the HET, is the performance/quality similar?
I'm looking for 120mph+ (Will a 6S 4000mah pack fit?).

Is there a manual online?

thanks for any help!

This is a 4S jet or small 6S.
It's supposed to weigh 1350g ready to fly! A 6S 4000mah pack weighs half that.

I flew mine with a 6S packs but only 2200 GEN Ace or two 1300 6S in parallel.
4000 you will have problem with a very nose heavy. My last flight I use a CS 70 mm fan with a Het 2-25 but the motor is to hot ...Any suggestion for this fan? sounded great for a 3 min. flight!

3min flight is really good only using a 2200mah pack. That motor on 6S is probably 90+amps, that's why it was so hot. Use 4 or 5S.

PS how do you launch it, and what kind of speeds were you getting?

Whats the biggest 4S that would fit/balance?

I'm thinking of powering it with a CS10-70mm and Turnigy L2855 2800kv

I "m using a catapult . 4S is not so good for this motor. I think you can fit a 3S 3300 mah
