Looks like a perfect location, although I'm not crazy about hysoling a servo in permanently. I would have used the hitec flat mounts, glue those in then screw the servo to those.

Something like this: http://dreamworksrc.com/catalog/prod...ucts_id=527#sf

I have the servo mounts and used them everywhere but on the elevator servos. If one goes bad inflight I don't think it will make it back to change it Thanks Billy D

I've never had one go bad in flight but I have had a couple of those not be able to recenter themselves. Both were repaired due to bad pots.

The servo is held in with the two face tape and just a bit of hysol. I could get them out without a lot of work.

Up all night getting a big deal of it done! Tx is set up..Have to install the e-flight retracts when they come in this week. Scott from XPS was nice enough to let us use 2-Hv140's there on there way now too.. Should have a maiden first part of next week!! I'm going to use 10s on the 1400kv..It's around 3500watts.. I'll test it and let ye know.. Billy D

Agreed, but I have a better way of attaching the stabs. For those familiar with Multiplex gliders, or Tangent as they are called these days they use a socket and plug that snaps together when the wings are pressed into place against the fuselage. They are strong enough to hold the wings on a 3m glider in place so should be good enough for this application. They can be purchased as a set of 4 for 8.40 EUR.
