Did not change anything just cut them the rest of the way off and have to drill out hole for the Robart hinges! Sorry I do not have a price on it Yet

Those hinglelines (other than the rudder which is correct) are bizarre.

You got to remember it is the first one build as a prototype! It just needs some finish work done to it.

Looks to me like someone wanted the rudder piece to be common with the elevator and the ailerons.

Can i make a suggestion for production ones? (i'm going to say it anyways )
If they aren't going to be live hinged, and are going to have a balsa LE cap, could they either
1. cut the surface free then install the LE cap.
or
2. Leave the LE cap to be installed by the customer.

While i understand this is a pre-production version, those LE's look horrible

I think Billy is going to regret putting up pics of a prototype!!!Based on the quality of my Jet Teng T-45 I would bet the production models will not look like these. The quality of mine is second to none!!!I do wish he would install the battery trays in these!

Ok all I need some input on were to put the elevator servos! There are to many great builders on RCG to not ask.. Here are some pics i took of the rear of the jet. I was thinking at first to put the servos into the elev. but there are 2 spars in the way of doing that? Any help will be much appreciated.. Thanks Billy D

I know the production version will be so so so much better then this one. Everything will be per-drilled and ready to install. Just like the L-39 and Hawk.

I would put the servo in the area I circled and run the linkage under the stab. I would also hysol in a heli-coil so I could use set screws and make the stabs removable for easy transportation

That's what the guys and I at the field were saying too!! The stab is drilled and taped for a screw inside the fuse..

Looks like a great model! Does it come with (or will it come with) 2 sizes of ducting for 90 and 100mm?

I agree with Bob, put it in that opening and run the arm down vertically. I'd still go with a removable stab, but for a model this size I don't think you need to remove it for transport on a normal basis. Plus you don't want to disconnect and reconnect every time. The rudder servo is done like this on my Skymaster sabre, being mounted in the fin.

If you think you'll run into an issue CG'ing the model then I'd put the elevator servos up farther in the fuse and run rods back with two 180deg bell-cranks to linkages outside the fuse hidden under the stab.
