No problems per se, we are just checking at the cause of this fuselage gap and a cure.

I have never returned anything or had a need for any service from HK.
If I have the same issues with the fuselage what is the procedure for getting it handled?
Or any other problems with the plane should any be there.

There are no issues with the model, the withdrawl from sale is temporary while we check the manufacuring process and upload the PDF instructions, that is all.

Do you know if hk is going to check the ones ordered but not yet shipped out for this gap to avoid any further issues... I got my fingers and toes crossed they are

I think we need to give them time to check things out. My opinion is that HK are checking things out and want to make sure all is well. If all is well then nothing really has to be done but if something is wrong then lets give them some space to sort out solutions. If they weren't interested in fixing any potential problems then they would have just kept selling them and ignored the complaints. They are not doing that. So far they are acting very conscientiously and with caution so let's see what happens as a result.

No big rush for me Scott - mine's not showing as despatched yet...

My Tiggie arrived today. It has a gap in the fuselage seam that I find perfectly acceptable, about 0.5mm at the front going to 0.8mm at the back. I'll probably knife some filler into it, wipe off the surplus with a damp sponge, and colour it with some watercolour paint and a fine brush.

All in all a very good level of finish that will look excellent with an evening of final detailing. The kit even has the pitot tubes on the wing strut! The only other comment I'd make is that my bottom wing and tailplane were quite bent as they came out of the box.

Did the bend in the wings come out after they were out of the box for a bit?

Don't know, just opened it at lunchtime then went back to work. I don't see a problem though, a hot wet towel should do it.

I was thinking it might spring back over time. Did not expect it to be a big deal.
I can only imagine what the boxes go through in their travels!

Just downloaded the manual. Two conclusions:
1. I think Scott might have written it (in which case thanks).
2. I don't have my Tigermoth yet but the manual looks pretty good.
Lots of photos of what to do and the descriptions seem pretty good.

The only thing I couldn't see was the control throws but on a plane
like this I'd be trying to get as much throw as I could, set about 40%
expo and then adjust as I go. Of course others might have different
opinions on that.
