Started building a small 18cm MtM frame to play with until i get a real frame Making it out of 10x18mm alu and ply. Little heavy but it will be ok to play with

Guessing the frame weight will be around 60-70 grams.

They are ready to mail tomorrow..

Here are some pictures..

1. Pic One - show's two center plates ( you only get one )
Top Plate will be your FB

2. Pic Two - show's Top view

after some debate here is how I did the bolts
a. Center Bolt come from the bottom - up
b. On the outside Bolt come from the top - down

3. I cut the slops under size ( final fit is sanded) so no glue
you get a very tight fit..

4. I'm using 2mm bolt then 4 - 2mmx20mm with plastic standoffs to hold the flight board.

Note: most flight boards use 3mm bolt holes but.. this should work fine..

Looks good, cant wait to get it.. I like the extra top plate, is there any way we can buy the extra center, so then we can have a roll cage to protect the FC..
Thanks G

This is 18cm mtm if i remember right. Wanted to use 5" props but the frame was too small so went with 4" propps instead Might try and fly it tomorrow if i can fit fc and rx on it Hopefully i get enough lift with the 4" props so it can take off . If not i make a new one that fits 5" props. Will be using 500-1000 mah 3s lipo.

If i cant find room for everything i will just wait till i get the real frame and try it out then
