Leaving for Mexico Monday morning for a week (without the S800), that will give me plenty of time to decide if this thing is just too expensive for me

yeah that is a lot of cash for sure......

WK Failsafe long recover

I got a question.

I just came back from the field where i was testing DJI Wookong failsafe , while it work as its supposed to work . I experience _very_ long (20sec) recovery from failsafe .

To reproduce :

Trigger failsafe (by mixer setup in the radio) WK goes to failsafe fly back to home and hover .
But if you switch off the fail safe during this routine you will not regain control immedatly.

It takes 20sec of hover before you got control back.

Does anymody else see this ?

I tested the mixer on the radio its correct , it show correct values in PC assistant software when switched ON / OFF.

I tested many times , each time same delay to regain control.

Regards

To exit failsafe you need to switch the RTH off and cycle the flight mode switch, I.e switch between GPS and Altti mode, then you will get control straight away

If you watch my video you can see I recover the control of the wokong after a very very long fail safe return home just like topgearuk said, switching the control mode

Naza gets gps, well id be happy with WKM if they decided to upgrade us to perfect gimbal stabilization & waypoints. Still no word on the subject from the powers that be?

Yea My Neighbors love when I fly my multicopters. I always get a crowd, even the local police Dept think they are cool and are looking at getting into them.

I have a feeling that if the YS-X6 turns out to work well and DJI doesn't fix their gimbal ouputs and add something worth while, people will start jumping ship.
